talk about my city

hello my name is juan felipe lozano and im going to talk to you about my beatiful city florencia - caqueta. it was founded on december 25, 1902, the town arose from a rubber warehouse located on the banks of thr la perdiz stream. 

starting in 1912, only ten years after the city was baptized as florencia, it was elevated to the category of municipality, capital of the police station, and the conditions for its administrative and territorial organization were established.

the central goverment appointed isaias cerquera the first mayor.

 MONUMENTS

in florencia there are multiple public monuments that pay homage to the characters and historical events of the region.

 and apart from this. The caqueta museum is located throughout the city center where you can continue learning about the history of this beautiful land bathed by the best crystalline waters.
